Valia Foufa
Valia Foufa studied Renovation and Restoration of Buildings at the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Patras, in Greece (2004). She continued her education studying Architecture at Patras School of Architecture (2009).
The influence from the two quite similar but very different degrees that Valia undertook shape an architectural vocabulary which respects “the old” but at the same time celebrates “the new”, and becomes inspired from the past without overlooking the importance of elements derive from the modern everyday life and its needs. As a result, the architecture achieves taking into account the social, cultural and economic context of today’s world.
Worked for Aggelos Mouzakitis practice in Patras (2005-2010), managing a variety of projects in architectural, interior and construction, gaining work experience in various fields. In 2010 she established her practice in Nafplio.She is a registered architect with the Technical Chamber of Greece.
Pavlos Michos
Pavlos studied Mechanical Engineering with Energy at the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Patras, in Greece (2005). He holds a BEng (Hons) and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sussex (2010) as well as an MSc in Sustainable Building Technology from the University of Nottingham (2011), in the United Kingdom.
His academic backround and professional experience gives him the opportunity to offer a wide range of services combining the traditional building services engineering with cement awareness of building sustainability, creating an integrated understanding that considers the whole building in order to deliver comfortable, energy efficient solutions.
He is a registered engineer with the Technical Chamber of Greece, and an Energy Assessor certified by the Hellenic Energy Inspectorate. He is also a Member of ASHRAE as well as an Affiliate member of CIBSE.
